Teaching

In addition to helping shape and contributing to the teaching and learning mission of Penn State University Libraries, I am grateful for opportunities to engage in broader professional teaching, as well.  I have a passion for guiding, mentoring, and helping others grow as teachers and professionals and recently have taught courses and workshops for the American Library Association, the Association of College & Research Libraries, and Syracuse University. 

Facilitator, 2017-present

Served as a facilitator for three ACRL Immersion programs (2017, 2018, and 2019), and co-revised and -developed the Immersion curriculum. Currently serving as co-coordinator for the facilitator team (2023-2026) and working on plans to bring Immersion back after a 5-year hiatus. 

Adjunct Instructor, 2017-present

Taught nine sections of IST 605: Reference and Information Literacy Services.  Co-revised and -developed course curriculum and content.
